About Us
Our mission is to meet the spiritual and physical needs of vulnerable children in Venezuela. We hope to meet physical needs by providing infant formula that is scarce and expensive to find there nationwide. We also hope to meet spiritual needs by providing children’s bibles to share the word of God and share the gospel to a hard to reach area of the world.
About the founder- Carolina Briggs
I grew up in Caracas, Venezuela during a time when the country was thriving. At the time it was considered one of the richest countries in all of Latin America: it had large oil exports, extensive tourism, and low socio-economic inequality levels. I loved living there and the warm people that set this country apart!
After my family moved to the U.S in 1991, the country began a rapid economic and political decline. Government policies led to hyperinflation, lack of political stability, and a famine throughout the country. In 2019 God opened a door to privately ship boxes to two trustworthy Christian pastors in Caracas, Venezuela. These pastors distribute all that we send to the poorest families in their communities. In 2021 the non-profit Beauty for Ashes: Helping Children in Venezuela was officially founded.
My hope is to meet physical and spiritual needs in this community I love so much.
